laundry basket later on08/17/2005 Just about everyone hates laundry. There is nothing worse than seeing a laundry basket overflowing on to the bathroom floor. Washing clothes can be a daunting task that no one really looks forward to but it has to be done. If you’re like me, you like to get a little washing done at a time so you are not overwhelmed with clothes piled up to the ceiling and you like to keep the clothes organized by color and type so sorting can be done with little effort. I'm glad you found my article. Sit back and relax and I believe you will learn a thing or two This may seem like a lot of extra work, but there are so many different types of hampers available that can make organizing your dirty clothes a breeze. Having more than one laundry basket can be very beneficial for your household. I have three in my home and they are each used for specific purposes furthermore. Our bathroom is decorated in the Shabby Chic style that is a great classically clean look. We chose a wooden hamper painted white for this room. We only put whites in this receptacle and this is easy to remember because we primarily use whites in the bathroom and the colors make sense it is important to note that. We have a wicker laundry basket in our bedroom. This hamper is brown and blends into our bedroom seamlessly. We put our darks in this receptacle and this is easy to remember because of the color coding. Of course, my husband does not really follow the color coding rules, but the clothes that wind up in the bedroom are usually dark. I can quickly sort out the whites at a glance afterward. The third hamper is a collapsible receptacle that I keep near the kitchen. This is for dish rags and kitchen towels that I don’t want to mix with items like bath towels and clothing. I don’t like to use fabric softener on my dish towels and rags and I tend to use harsher soaps and bleach on my kitchen linens. The collapsible laundry basket is very handy in the kitchen area at the same time. Once one of the hampers gets a little full, I collect the clothing with a plastic laundry basket that holds exactly one load of laundry. I complete that load before even considering collecting more. Once that load is dry and put away, I move on to the next hamper. I may only do one or two loads of washing a day, but I never find dirty laundry lying around the house. The system works very well for our family if you look at it that way. I'm hoping that you found all of this interesting and helpful.
